Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is a five-member body that is responsible for implementing decisions of Worcester DSA’s membership and that meets weekly to administer the organization between General Meetings. Each officer on the Steering Committee also has a portfolio of responsibilities outlined in our bylaws. Going forward, officers will be elected each December and serve a one-year term that starts on January 1.

Vibes Committee

The Vibes Committee is responsible for planning social events and other activities for chapter members (and their friends/family) and for prospective members too.

Bylaws Review Committee

The Bylaws Review Committee is responsible for preparing proposals to update our current bylaws, which are the chapter’s governing documents. The committee will make a recommendation — to be voted on by the chapter’s membership — for potential changes our officers’ responsibilities, the chapter’s structure, and other rules and procedures of how Worcester DSA functions.
